The Breakers at Higgins Beach, tote.

There are a few new features to this bag, decorative buttons, and colorful straps for spring, a removable hard covered bottom, (awesome tip from Michael! :] ) and a zippered interior pocket instead of an open exterior pocket. This one has nice wide space inside so you can really see all your stuff! the straps are sturdy and comfortable too. I painted this because this tote is a present for my Aunt Sue in Florida, and we had many memories at Higgins! I hope she loves it.

2009- bring me fun, love and productivity

happy new year!
I'm now all color coordinated and organized for the new year, which is wonderful news since I have a new sewing machine as well! there is an empty bin under my table, and I've made it my goal to fill it with painted hand made bags by the end of this year. its so much better now that all my fabric is visible. It makes it much easier to brainstorm ideas when I can see what I have to work with.

Same goes with my polymer clay stuff. its all organized and ready for me to dive in and create! lately I'm super inspired by Anthropologie's home decor. now i want to make door knobs, switch plates, cabinet handles, and silverware handles out of sculpey clay! we will see what comes out of this.
